If you want to develop for WM5, 6, and 6.1, you can still use Visual Studio to create a .NET Compact Framework-based application. You will get the ability to visually drag and drop controls, write some code-behind file, and other things.
Though, it won't be quite as feature-rich as Blend, nor will you will you have the ability to easily skin/style your content :nerd:

Hi,
I have an EAD (over a year now since I-140 approved), but never used it. Now, that Iam planning to switch my employer I have some questions about using EAD
1. Is it Mandatory to file AC21?
2. Is AC21 required for each contract switch ? (Suppose Contract is W2), if so, wouldnt that be hard and expensive to file for every 3 or 6 months projects?
3. Can I work on 1099?

This morning I saw a commercial (California Group Blames Immigrants for Climate Change) (http://www.triplepundit.com/2009/11/california-group-blames-immigrants-for-climate-change/)on the local Bay Area channel and was simply surprised, I mean out of words surprised.
I cannot believe how low these anti-immigrant groups can and will go to push their point, which obviously is nothing but full of BS, but it certainly adds fuel to the fire.

Unfortunately, the intellectual wing of the Republicans is in hibernation for the foreseeable future. They are basically in hiding from the Glen Beck wing-nuts, so I doubt if Sullivan is very influential right now. He ought to be for conservatives because he is quite insightful but Beck provides plenty of pablum for the lazy.

Was it first h1 renewal (meaning 3rd year) or second h1 renewal (meaning 7th year).
Did you do anything extra to avoid PIMS delay (like when you renewed your h1) did your employer keep another copy with a notice saying send to Kentucky CC
How long was the gap between h1 renewal received and you going for stamping?
It was first H1b ext. Company did not send second copy to Kentucky CC . On roadside window where VFS does preliminary check , vfs person put PIMS forbid in DS 156. Dont know what does it mean. also h1b renewal was in nov 2008 and I went for .stamping in feb 2009.
One more thing VFS mumbai told me that they will not allow even US born child ( even new born ) if they are not applicant. Only applicant child ( those who are for h4 ) allowed inside. at delhi situation was totally different.

If you are actually using the EAD you cannot work in the interim though. Just an FYI
how will the uscis know that during the interim period my work is authorized and not mistake it saying the EAD is expired and does an RFE?

Surprisingly, they do not charge for this service. Since I would be applying for renewal of my pp and not for a new pp, they do not charge anything. The only problem is remembering and sending it to them for renewal which is also time consuming.

How easy is to obtain L-1A through immigration lawyers?
What forms do I need to submit for applying this visa
Our company attorney does not provide complete information, therefore I would appreciate your help on the above.

You can get your EB3 PD. Your lawer needs to write to the USCIS to port your PD. Attorney here would give you more details and wait for them to respond.
The OP cannot port his EB-3 PD in this case as his EB-3 I-140 was not filed/approved. One can only port an older PD if they have an approved I-140 with old PD. Just an approved LC with old PD won't help.
