That's option 1, just connect to both network shares and drag/drop to your hearts content.
Even though i said it's slow, if you have a nice fast network switch/router 1000BaseT is the way to go here, then your files will go lickety split. :D

Its good switching isn't it! I switched in March this year, and I would never look back. The iBooks are lovely, I'm hoping one day I get a job where I can have a laptop of my own- then I'd ask for an iBook! Its weird how it makes you look back on PCs in such a "why didn't I switch before?!" way. :)

I think 3gs is very smooth, didnt see any lag so far and i am playing with it a lot.
The reason i couldnt buy ip4 is its price here in Turkey, it is around 1300USD.
Hopefully i will switch to iphone 5 in september if i can buy from the UK as simfree version. Are simfree versions available with the first launch? Or they wait carriers to sell enough contracts first?

I just order my new 250 GB Seagate SATA from Newegg this morning, it was on a 24 hour special for $109.50
It just blows my mind that we're getting down to around $0.50 per GB for these high quality drives.
Apple has been using Maxtor drives lately as stock units and I'm not sure how they'll hold up.
If I wasn't so damn broke I would have gotten a matched pair of Seagate 250's, but I need an extra GB of RAM first.

I have my Xbox doing 1080p thru component and it looks fine. I have not tried HDDVD yet but assume it will be OK.
One thing I did notice, When I had it set to 1080i and a played a DVD, the TV would IDENT the source as 480p, now no matter what I put in the Xbox it IDENTs the source as 1080p.

It's still Chrome. I downloaded the latest version and when typing a server name to browse on the corporate network, it searches for the name instead. That's a very dumb issue for a web browser to have. It should try contacting it first and if there are DNS failures, then search for it.
Uninstalled and back to Firefox. At this point, I don't ever plan on trying Chrome again. I have tried it many times and each time there's some nuisance.

I just called the post office and they said ~$8 to 10 US to ship it First Class international, so you can sortof figure that into the price.
[below does not imply anything about fpar above, I thought I'd just be upfront about this since international shipping is being discussed]
Also, for any international lurkers in the thread, I'm not interested in marking the item in a way to dodge customs--you'll have to work that out yourself. I don't know if that applies for First Class International, but I thought I should just say that outright.

While the terms of the warranty permit Apple to replace defective phones with refurbished parts, I have no reason to believe this unit is refurbished. The iPhone came with the plastic adhered to the screen and has no blemishes or anything.
I lost my patience and went ahead and downgraded to 1.0.2. I'm really enjoying using the camera with Pushr, so I may need to rethink trading.
I put a crystal film screen protector on it as soon as I removed the plastic, so it's still pristine.
